What the work covers.

Record-to-Report (R2R) is the finance cycle that records service activity, reconciles it to the source system, closes the period, consolidates results, and produces the statements and management reports controllers and leaders rely on. actVite specializes in Record-to-Report for regulated environments and equips organizations with reliable Workplace harnesses powered by their end-user service data.

Three workstreams. Controlled operation of the reporting workflows. Management reports prepared from the client's books. A backup and restore procedure for the systems those reports depend on.

Controlled agent operations

Staff assigned to the engagement specify which workflows exist, which records each workflow may read, and which outputs require approval by a named person before they are issued. Model output is a draft. It is not an approval of the financial statements.

Management reporting

Reports are prepared against the client's chart of accounts, reporting entities, and close calendar. Typical deliverables are variance analysis, exception schedules, management commentary, and the packages required by a board or a lender. A figure is not included in an issued report until it has been reviewed.

Backup and restore

Scope covers source extracts, the office systems the close uses, model artifacts, the report archive, and the approval record. Backup frequency, retention, custody, and the persons authorized to restore are agreed with the controller and tested.

Client systems

The engagement runs in Microsoft 365, Zoho Workplace, or Google Workspace. Source records remain in that environment. They are not moved to a platform operated by actVite.
